
Aden Gulf International University launches competitive exams for free scholarships
The President of the Gulf of Aden International University, Dr. Najib Muhammad Muthanna, and the Director General of Culture in Al Dhale Governorate, Mr. Ali Mohsen Sinan, launched on Saturday morning, October 7, 2023, the competitive exams for the free scholarships provided by the university for the academic year 2023/2024.
The President of the University and the Director of Culture in the Governorate, accompanied by the deans of the colleges and the general managers of the university, toured the examination halls, stressing the need for the examination process to proceed in an organized and disciplined manner, and to work on preparing the appropriate atmosphere for students applying for the competitive exams.
In a press statement, the President of the University, Dr. Najib Muhammad Muthanna, stated that the free scholarships that students compete for in these exams are keen on the university, represented by its Board of Trustees and its presidency, to provide them to students annually since its establishment until now.
Dr. Najib considered that these scholarships are a step to support and encourage academically distinguished students and are a contribution from the university to serve the surrounding community, taking into account the difficult living conditions that people live in.
The exams launch was also attended by Dr. Abdel Fattah Ali Mohsen, Dean of the College of Administrative and Human Sciences, Mr. Nasr Naji Abbas, Director General of Academic Affairs, Mr. Mukhtar Muhammad Ali Musleh, Director of Admissions and Registration, and Dr. Abdullah Ahmed Taleb, a faculty member, in addition to a number of faculty members and staff at the university.
