
Announcement of conducting competitive examinations for cultural exchange scholarships (bachelor’s) for the academic year 2023/2024 AD
The Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training announces the holding of a competitive exam for students wishing to apply for cultural exchange scholarships for the academic year 2023/2024 (undergraduate studies only) on Saturday 11/19/2022. Students wishing to compete for these scholarships must complete the registration and coordination process, which will begin on Wednesday 11/02/2022 and end on Saturday 11/12/2022. The competitive exams will be held at the following examination centers:
- Aden Governorate / Aden University / Al-Shaab City – College of Engineering.
- Taiz Governorate / Taiz University / Al-Madinah – Habil Salman.
- Hadhramaut Governorate / Hadhramaut University / Al-Masakin College Complex – Fuwah Al-Mukalla.
- Ma’rib Governorate / Saba Region University / University.
Conditions for applying for the competition:
- The applicant must be a graduate of high school for the year 2020/2021 or 2021/2022.
- The student’s high school average should not be less than 90% in the science section.
Registration steps:
- Pay the coordination fees in the amount of ten thousand (10,000) Yemeni riyals into the account of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, No. (2321506) at any of the branches of Bin Doul Exchange Company, or through its agents in the Republic of Yemen, and take a notice of the payment of the fees within a period not exceeding two days from the date of coordination, and submit it in the coordination form in step 2, as your coordination will not be completed if you do not pay the fees.

- Follow the sequential steps in the coordination portal, and choose the center in which the student wishes to take the exam, taking into account uploading a clear copy of the high school certificate (the electronic copy is certified by the Education Department in the absence of the final certificate) + and an identity document (card or passport) + a copy of the payment voucher.
Competitive exam materials for the third year of secondary school, scientific curriculum:

General notes:
- The student’s final average will be calculated as follows: (30% of the secondary school average + 70% of the comparison exam result).
- The comparison exam is written and multiple-choice, and the automated (electronic) system will be used for correction.
- The exam starts at nine in the morning in all examination centers, and its duration is two hours.
- Attendance at least half an hour before the exam, to complete the required procedures before entering the exam hall.
- No student will be allowed to enter the exam hall unless he brings a copy of the secondary school certificate, the personal ID card, and a receipt for payment of the coordination fees.
