University withdrawal system after registration
The student has the right to withdraw the file from the university from any academic level immediately after registration according to the following procedures:
1- Submit a written request from the student to withdraw his file from the university.
2- The student must attach the university card to the request.
3- Complete the clearance procedures according to the approved form (a special form for students who withdraw after registration).
4- Tuition fees, registration fees and service fees are calculated for the withdrawn student after registration as follows:
First: Withdrawn students:
1- 50% of the registration fees are refunded if the student withdraws within a week of registration.
2- Withdrawal from the university after the first and second weeks from the start of study in the first semester, registration fees and clearing fees are not refunded and the rest of the fees paid by the student are refunded.
3- Withdrawal from the university after three to four weeks from the start of study in the first semester, registration fees and service fees are not refunded and the student bears 25% of the tuition fees for the first semester.
4- Withdrawal from the university after the fifth week of the start of study in the first semester, registration fees and service fees are not refunded, and the student bears 50% of the tuition fees for the first semester.
5- The same procedures apply to the student in the event of his withdrawal from the university in the second semester after paying all fees for the first semester. General withdrawal:
The student has the right to withdraw the file from the university from any academic level according to the following procedures:
1- Submit a written request from the student to withdraw his file from the university.
2- The student must pay all tuition fees due.
3- Tuition fees for the year of file withdrawal are calculated according to the previous clause.
4- The procedures for clearing the party (file withdrawal) are completed according to the approved form.
5- The student wishing to withdraw his file is not entitled to demand the university to return the amounts he paid to it.
6- The student pays the file withdrawal fees prescribed according to the special fees list.
7- The residence issued under the university’s sponsorship for the withdrawn non-Yemeni student is cancelled.
Dropout:
A student is considered to have dropped out of school in the following cases:
1- If he/she misses two consecutive semesters without officially suspending his/her registration according to the registration suspension form.
2- If the student does not open his/her registration after the end of the previous registration suspension period by one month.
3- In the two previous cases, paragraphs (1 and 2), the student is considered to have been dismissed from the university due to the dropout.
4- The dropped out student is not allowed to take exams unless the dropout issue is resolved and the prescribed fees are paid according to the regulations.
The student may continue his/her studies at the university after being dropped out for one academic year or more according to the following procedures:
A- The dropped out student shall be charged a fine of (15%) of the tuition fees for each academic year.
B- The registration procedures shall be repeated as a new student and all procedures for new students shall be carried out on him/her if he/she meets the announced admission requirements for new students.
C- Obligating the student to study any additional courses or re-study any course determined by the College Council.
