Department of Media and Communication Sciences

The major of Media and Communication Sciences (Journalism) is one of the majors that belong to the major of humanities and is a department of one of the departments of the faculties of humanities and social sciences. The department is led by expert faculty members who are guided by the integration of cognitive theory/epistemology and applied/ontological approaches to keep our graduates abreast of the ever-changing trends in these two fields. The department is also structured to offer a pioneering research program in media and communication excellence in Al-Dhale’e and Yemen.
