In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions. First and foremost, I extend a warm welcome to my sons and daughters who have joined Gulf of Aden International University. Gulf of Aden International University was established at a time when the need for such an institution was both urgent and essential. It aims to provide education and knowledge to our students in Al-Dhalea Governorate across various medical and humanitarian sciences. The university has been equipped with the latest devices and advanced technologies to keep pace with the rapidly evolving technological advancements. We have been keen to open faculties and disciplines that meet the needs of the labor market while also fulfilling the aspirations of our students. Before the establishment of the university, students had to endure the challenges of traveling outside the geographical boundaries of the governorate to pursue higher education. This was only feasible for those who could afford it, while others—particularly female students from various districts of the governorate—were entirely deprived of realizing their dreams of completing their university education. Now, Gulf of Aden International University enters its seventh year since its establishment. It has contributed graduates in various medical and humanitarian disciplines to the labor market, becoming a new force driving the nation forward. We take pride in seeing our graduates excelling in numerous institutions and organizations. We will continue to embrace the latest technological advancements across disciplines, making Gulf of Aden International University a desirable destination for every knowledge seeker in various fields. Through this message, I call upon all members of the university—faculty, staff, and administrators—to double their efforts and be a source of support and assistance to the students across all colleges, particularly the distinguished and talented ones. They must surround them with academic, cultural, creative, and social care to nurture a generation capable of organized, outstanding institutional work. I also urge them to implement comprehensive quality standards in education, ensuring Gulf of Aden International University ranks among the top Arab and global universities in terms of educational quality and excellence in outputs. I also encourage my dear students to foster a spirit of mutual respect and cooperation with their professors to acquire knowledge, creativity, and excellence. I urge them to strive diligently to achieve their academic goals while adhering to the university’s rules and regulations. As they have rights, they also have responsibilities. In conclusion, I extend my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the university’s faculty members and staff for their outstanding role in serving the educational process. We wish our students success and prosperity, contributing to the progress and elevation of our beloved homeland. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
