Stop and open registration system

First: Suspension of registration:

– The student or his/her authorized representative has the right to suspend registration for reasons submitted to the Director of Admissions and Registration during the first two weeks of the start of the study for the first or second semester according to the approved form for suspending student registration.

– The maximum limit for suspending registration is two academic years (two university years) or four semesters (during his/her studies) for a student registered in a bachelor’s degree or one university year (two semesters) for a student registered in a diploma.

The procedures for suspending registration are completed by the student as follows:

1- The Admissions and Registration Department writes a receipt for the registration suspension fees and directs the student to the fund.

2- Receive a copy of the registration suspension receipt from the student.

3- Write a registration suspension request according to the approved form.

4- The student pays all financial dues to the university.

5- Complete the missing documents in the student’s file.

6- Complete all procedures according to the registration suspension form.

7- Submit the original registration suspension form to the Admissions and Registration Department, a copy to the Financial Affairs Department, a copy in the student’s file, and a copy for the student.

8- The registration suspension period is not counted within the legal period for the student to obtain the university qualification.

9- The student whose registration has been suspended is not entitled to take the semester or final exams in the year of suspension.

Registration is not permitted in the following cases:

1- If two weeks of study have passed in the first semester.

2- The student registered in the first level.

3- The incoming student who has been granted residency through the university.

4- The student who has received a scholarship except with the written approval of the granting authority.

5- The student who has dropped out of school.

Second: Opening Registration

The student has the right to open the registration after the end of the previous registration suspension period within a maximum of two weeks from the beginning of the semester following the end of the registration suspension and takes the following procedures:

1- The student submits a request to open the registration suspension according to the approved form.

2- The student pays all financial dues to the university.

3- Complete the missing documents for the student’s file.

4- Complete all procedures according to the registration opening form.

5- Submit the original registration opening form to the Admissions and Registration Department.

6- If the student does not reopen his registration after the end of the previous registration suspension period by a maximum of one month, the student will be considered to have dropped out of school.
