Signing a cooperation and partnership agreement between the Gulf of Aden International University and Badr University in Assiut, Arab Republic of Egypt

In extension of extending bridges of cooperation with Egyptian universities

Professor Mohamed Al-Shaibi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Gulf of Aden University, signed a joint cooperation agreement with Professor Dr. Mustafa Mohamed Kamal, President of Badr University in Assiut, Arab Republic of Egypt

The joint cooperation agreement stipulated the opening of joint study programs, developing academic curricula by benefiting from the expertise of each party, scientific research, participation in seminars and forums, and supervising master’s and doctoral theses

Professor Al-Shaibi indicated, during the signing of the joint cooperation memorandum, that the International Gulf of Aden University seeks to strengthen the bonds of cooperation with Egyptian universities and academies, with the aim of improving the educational and research system and developing bilateral relations that will contribute significantly to increasing their competitive capabilities at the regional and international levels

For his part, Professor Dr. Mustafa Kamal pointed out the special status of Yemeni universities and Yemenis in general, praising the distinguished level of Yemeni students, noting that Badr University in Assiut, in appreciation of the Yemenis, approved a 25% reduction in tuition fees in scientific colleges, 40% for humanities colleges
