Joint Scientific Cooperation Agreement between Aden Gulf International University and Al Shorouk Egyptian Academy

This morning, Monday, in the Arab Republic of Egypt, a joint memorandum of understanding was signed between the Gulf of Aden International University and the Egyptian Al-Shorouk Academy. The joint memorandum of understanding was signed by Dr. Mohammed Al-Shaibi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Gulf of Aden International University, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Al-Shorouk Academy. The terms of the agreement stated that, in consideration of the desire and common interest between the Gulf of Aden International University in the Republic of Yemen and the Egyptian Al-Shorouk Academy to establish scientific and practical cooperation relations in the areas of scientific research, teaching, and developing academic programs for students and researchers, the two parties agreed on the following:

1- Work on opening joint study programs.

2- Develop academic curricula and benefit from the experiences of each side

Scientific research.

3- Participation in seminars and forums.

4- Joint supervision of master’s and doctoral theses.

5- Student training.

6- Each party shall appoint an official to follow up on the implementation of this memorandum in preparation for signing the agreement.

The agreement, which is valid for a period of five years, is renewable after the approval of both parties. No amendment shall be made by either party except with the written approval of both the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Gulf of Aden International University and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Al-Shorouk Academy.
